Service English teaching programs are for those students receiving their instruction in their departments in Turkish and taking compulsory English classes for the first and second semesters. These programs are designed by the English Preparatory Unit. Departments are joined according to their majors and the students are given a Placement Test to indicate their level of English. Each student follows his class schedule regardless of their academic background.
