The  aim of the programme:
Turkish Language and Literature department aims to train  individuals qualified with the linguistic and literary knowledge of Turkish which is the fifth in the world in its usage. Our objectives are to provide our students with a broad vision of world literature and to enrich their world views.

The Programme:
The historical background of Turkish Language and Literature will be studied in historical periods. The author, the period and the literary work will be studied theoretically and pedagogically.

Career Opportunities:
The graduates of the department can become Turkish teachers at secondary schools, universities and language schools. The graduates can also become programme productors for TV and radio channels. They can become editors for all publications and they can do their MA and PhD for beter job opportunities.

Scholarship :
10% of the department student cota will be on scholarship
