Aim of the Department:
Department of economics and finance are one of the most important subjects of the current economic situations especially when we take the globalization and competition into consideration. Middle and top management of the public and private organizations have to have enough work power expert on finance and economics to be able to benefit from the fast changing in the economic environment. In other words, managers or the decision makers of the companies should be familiar the subjects to be able to react to changes in a crisis situation or to grasp an opportunity for the organization. For the reasons explain above, the department was decided to be open and with the help of academic stuff we aim to train students in a very qualified environment.

Training Program of the Department:
The department educates the students towards to the needs of free market economy by applying both theoretical and practical courses.

Career Possibilities and Planning:
The graduates can get a position in public and private sectors and also in some international firms after having four years education. The aim is to place the graduate in some top companies acting finance sector as finance expert, manager and vice manager.
